In the second module of technet’s Transfer Bridge, inventions and patents are assessed in-depth with regard to their social and commercial potential. Through standardised methodology, we perform a comprehensive evaluation on patents, technology and markets. In so doing, we investigate an invention’s unique selling points, draw up a profile of strengths and weaknesses, define risks and opportunities in utilisation, analyse the benefit to end customers and research potential markets. We determine the requisite development steps and potential market value for each invention.
