The government of Lower Austrian has decided to pay particular attention to technology-oriented high-growth companies with a need for funding in the early stages of development. For this purpose, the government provides venture capital.

The main objective is to provide concrete targeted support for technology-oriented and innovative companies in the start-up and growth stages.

The venture capital fund "tecnet equity" provides equity as a lasting means of financing for technology companies in Lower Austria.

Kind and amount of risk capital will be provided according to the requirements of each individual project. The design of our funding instrument differs markedly from classical subsidies made available to small companies. After receiving public and private subsidies, this capital is the first financing round for these companies. It facilitates filling an investment gap often jeopardizing the existence and secures sustained development of the company
