Oridis Biomed was founded by experienced scientists and experts from the pharmaceutical industry in 2001. On the basis of one of the best-preserved global collection of tissues, the company succeeded in making new discoveries about liver cancer and developed biochips for new drugs.

Oridis Biomed was sold to PVP I in February of 2005.
