Decision is a software company in the Lower Austrian town of Baden. It develops data mining tools for the oil industry and distributes them internationally. A 25-member team of oil engineers and IT specialists has developed the software product “DECIDE! for OIL&GAS” in recent years. International clients such as Shell, TotalFinaElf and ChevronTexaco have tested this software solution successfully and use it for their oil production business.

Decision Team Software was sold to the international oil services corporation Schlumberger in June of 2004.
