Currently: As CEO of N.vest (Unternehmensfinanzierungen des Landes NÖ GmbH) and tecnet equity (NÖ Technologiefinanzierungs-Invest GmbH), Doris Agneter is in charge of structuring the company and team and for strategically positioning the two companies as new participants in the market since November of 2005. Her responsibility includes deal flow generation, acquisition of companies, negotiations with potential portfolio companies, and exit preparation. She is also a member of various advisory boards and boards of directors. In addition, she is the primary contact for technology companies, representing tecnet on a national and international level.
Career: Before joining tecnet, Doris Agneter headed the private equity department at Raiffeisen Centrobank AG as the chairperson of RZB Private Equity Holding AG, the private equity fund-of-funds portfolio of Raiffeisen Zentralbank Österreich. In addition, she was chairperson of Centro Property Holding AG and member of various advisory boards and boards of directors of private equity funds. Previously, she was instrumental in creating new guarantee instruments for venture capital/private equity funds at Austria Wirtschaftsservice GmbH (formerly FGG), whose equity/venture capital department she also created. While in this position, she closely collaborated with numerous Austrian and international venture capital funds. Before joining AWG/FGG, she was a lecturer at the Department for Econometrics, Operations Research and System Theory at the Vienna University of Technology.
Doris Agneter holds visiting professor positions at several Austrian universities. She has been a member of numerous expert groups, among them for the European Commission and the Austrian Private Equity and Venture Capital Organisation (AVCO).
Education: Dr. Doris Agneter obtained her Ph.D. in technical mathematics (Department of Planning and Business Mathematics) at the Vienna University of Technology in 1990. She completed her post-graduate training in business management at the Institute for Advanced Studies (Department of Business Management/Operations Research).
